They are now actively seeking top talent to be a part of the production team. If you are an experienced General Operator / Setter and have industrial and/or setting experience, we want to hear from you.

The role is to assist in the achievement of daily production requirements in terms of quality and quantity. This will include controlling the flow of metal coolants and lubricants, as well as load, set and feed coils effectively. As a Setter Operator, you will also be setting the production equipment safely and efficiently and controlling production processes to set tolerances. You will also install equipment such as guides, guards, gears, cooling equipment and rolls using hand tools.

The shift patterns for these roles are as follows:

Setter - 10.00pm - 6.00am.
General Operator - 6.00am - 2.00pm, 2.00pm - 10.00pm, 10.00pm - 6.00am.

You must be efficient at working to strict safety and quality requirements, ensuring optimum efficiency, that operational excellence is maintained and non-stop production is achieved, as well as contribute to continuous improvement where possible.

The successful candidate will ideally have industrial experience gained within a sheet metal environment, and hold relevant qualifications within slinging & crane operation, waste segregation, laser safety as well as training in spill kit, abrasive wheel and environmental procedures.

In addition to this, a successful setter operator will ideally have setting experience gained within an industrial environment, and hold relevant qualifications within Power Press regulations. You will be able set and change rafts, set press tools and have an overall understanding of the equipment used within a metal forming environment.
