Starting in 1994 we were created with a mission to translate complex laws into plain English for England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland, providing expert, relevant information every time. Specialising in both subscriptions and as consultants, we cut through legal jargon in the following legislation areas: Environmental ; Health & Safety ; Energy and Planning.
An opportunity has arisen to join our established business and help take us to the next level. We have a 22 year track record in environmental and safety publishing and consultancy, with new products targeting energy and planning markets. Working throughout the UK, our client portfolio ranges from individual consultants to household names.
Our mission statement grows every year. We started out to simplify environmental legislation, and now cover safety and planning too. We used to do a handful of legal registers, now we've expanded our consultancy to cover all aspects of legal compliance. We even do Roadshows and webinars! We are seeking a target driven, sales executive capable of delivering significant new business. Working on your own initiative, you will:
o Generate, develop and close new sales leads;
o Undertake online and personal product demonstrations;
o Cold call prospective customers.
o Increase the company's client base, turnover and profit.
o Provide quotations;
o Answer customer queries via phone and email in a professional and efficient manner;
o Attend exhibitions as required;
o Any other duties reasonably required which contribute to the objectives of the company.

o Negotiation and closing techniques;
o Common sense;
o Ability to use own initiative;
o Attention to detail;
o Computer literacy, especially Microsoft Office;
o Full, clean driving licence.
In return we offer a great deal of autonomy, a basic salary of GBP17000 and a realistic OTE of GBP27,000
