Adult Support Worker
Adult Support Worker required for ASAP start in Stratford-Upon-Avon, permanent contract, 30 hours per week
Your new company
Hays are working exclusively with local organisation who provides support for adults with learning difficulties. They provide a wide range of services including Supported Living, Residential, Outreach, Short Breaks and Daytime Activities. They are looking for permanent support workers on a range of contract from 20 to 35 hours per week.
Your new role
In your new role as an Adult Support Worker you will be working with those with learning and complex needs. You will need to make service users feel comfortable and secure and take into account the needs of each individual , enabling them to live as full and independent lives as possible. You will need to support those with learning disabilities o the highest standard, whilst taking on the role of key worker for specific customers.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role you will ideally need to have previous experience working with adults with learning disabilities. You will also need to have an empathetic and caring nature. You will have previous experience with writing reports and care plans and be able to work on a flexible basis including weekends.
