Employed Financial Adviser opportunity in Birmingham

We have an opportunity to join a leading Financial Services firm who seek to add an Adviser to the business. The role comes with a competitive basic salary and bonus structure, as well as a very good benefits package.

Job Purpose:

  • You will be expected to deliver expert financial advice and a first-class customer experience
  • Provide expert independent advice to your designated clients in line with industry and company compliance standards
  • Strive to achieve new business targets as agreed with Management
  • Maintain and grow existing client relationships
  • Actively generate new client enquiries and opportunities through word of mouth, referrals and networking, and marketing activities in line with the company’s plans
  • You will be expected to maintain excellent relationships with new and existing clients and other external connections
  • Maintain good relationships with internal staff, such as administrative support, to encourage a healthy proactive relationship with in the office
  • To create, nurture and develop relationships with professionals and local institutions from within the community, with a view of establishing new customer relationships and achieving growth targets
  • Mentor, coach and encourage self-development of trainee consultants and other colleagues interested in consultant based career progression

About You, your Experience and Qualifications

  • Qualified to Level 6, Chartered Financial Planner status (or working towards - must have a minimum of Level 4 Diploma)
  • Achieves business targets and develops customer relationships
  • Technically strong across Pensions and Investments
  • Previous experience to achieve targets within a financial organisation
  • Ability to keep abreast of changes/development in own area of expertise
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Oral and written communication skills
  • Confident networking skills
  • Influencing and negotiation skills - persuasiveness
  • Resilience
