Programme Compliance Officer
Salary: £31,288 - £36,019
Full time (37 hours per week) fixed term to 31st October 2019 (due to extra funding)

The post holder will work as part of a dynamic team in delivering an effective compliance and monitoring function within a busy multi-programme environment. You will receive on-going training and support from a small core team as you help to promote good relationships, best practice and decision making across the Council and its partners.
You will support the successful delivery of a number of exciting regeneration initiatives in the Black Country. The postholder will play a lead role in promoting and assessing compliance on behalf of the Black Country Joint Committee. The role will lead and shape the new compliance agenda and involves reviewing, capturing and reporting on key compliance targets, reassuring senior stakeholders on compliance matters. You will lead in the assessment of project activity, building effective relationships with a wide range of external partners including the private and Further Education sectors.
The postholder will need a strong track record in public sector contracting and compliance activity, including work on national funding streams. You will need experience in the creation of monitoring processes and frameworks for assessment, the ability to manage a demanding workload and manage complex relationships.
