This position reports to the UK Area Manager and is responsible for the day to day commercial activities across the scope of the existing Client business, and for identifying, and following up new business opportunities into the Client.

Client Details

My client is a multinational company providing design, engineering, testing and homologation services to the automotive industry.


*Proactive networking with all Engineering departments within Client.

*Raising awareness of services across all of Client.

*Supporting internal Client requests for engineering services.

*Generating meeting reports and business opportunity documents.

*Liaising with internal staff to explain new Client requests.

*Following up proposals after submission.

*Following new business opportunities through to activity completion.

*Identifying new areas of possible collaboration, and following up.

*Weekly meetings with Area Manager to discuss, review and plan activities.

*Liaison with staff both in the UK and globally as required.

*Identifying and actioning any customer concerns.

*Forging strong long term working relationships with customer contacts.


*Strong commercial awareness.

*Ability to work with MS Word, MS PowerPoint .

*Analytical and numeracy skills with the ability to work with MS Excel.

*Clear and concise written communication and presentation skills.

*Strong verbal communication skills.
