A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Receptionist with administration/secretary experience to join an architectural client of mine based in central Birmingham.
As you would expect this client is based in quirky, cool office space that is soon to be refurbished and made even better.
The main purpose of this role is to add to the visitor experience when clients visitor the Birmingham office as well as support the architects and provide PA support to the local MD.
This client is currently going through a period of growth over the next 5 years so is a great time to get on board.

Salary = £20,000 per annum entrance salary
Duties include:
- Answering incoming calls
- Meeting and greeting visitors, signing in and arranging refreshments
- Keep to entrance area and meeting rooms tidy and presentable at all times
- Actively promote a clean and tidy workspace amongst other staff members
- Managing stationary and ordering stock
- Support with organising events
- PA support to MD including booking travel and accommodation
- Assisting finance team with small amount of credit control
- Conducting research on local events and create a diary for project managers to attend

The ideal candidate:
- Must have previous reception or secretary experience
- Ideally with aspects of PA duties
- Having experience from an architects or construction company will be highly desirable
- Must be highly organised and can prove at interview
- Must be persuasive to have other staff comply with company ways
- Must be a strong communicator
