Ethero Staffing Coventry is looking for a Data and Funding Manager to join the UK's leading retailer. The role will be in the apprenticeship team and will work closely with company's apprentice assessors, internal verifiers and the partners in Ofsted, the Skills Funding Agency and Maytas. The role holder will build relationships right across the country to ensure that the apprenticeship data is 100% accurate.

Location: Redditch
Salary: circa £30K

Person Specification
• Minimum of 4 years experience within a Data Funding Management position
• Previous involvement in an OFSTED inspection
• Previous involvement in a SFA Audit
• Ability to handle multiple pieces of work
• Strong organisational skills
• Detail focussed and methodical
• Effective communicator and relationship builder, both internally and externally
• Ability to work independently and prioritise workflow
• Intermediate level knowledge of Excel minimum
• Extensive experience working with the Maytas 5 back office management system
• Extensive experience working with e-track portfolio system
• Extensive knowledge of the SFA funding methodology and its application to provide decision making funding opportunities
• Proven experience of managing successful business driven MIS systems, and producing comprehensive reports
• Input and reporting skills for 3rd party systems including ICQ, MAYTAS, DAS and the SFA HUB

Key responsibilities
The provision of management information to facilitate effective senior management decision making and to support continuous improvement in the Apprenticeship schemes
• Uploading relevant data to external systems e.g. the Skills Funding Agency, Maytas and E-track
• The analysis of reports to highlight any inconsistencies in apprentice progress across the business
• Creating data dashboards for Assessors, Team Leaders, and Internal Verifiers so that they can track their progress, the team's progress and plan effectively
• Ensuring that actions related to individual apprentices have been processed correctly in MAYTAS including breaks or changes in the learner's programme
• Conducting regular data quality reviews and internal audits to ensure compliance with all the necessary data standards
• Ensuring that the company is funded correctly and in line with funding rules
• Being the Company's expert' in MAYTAS and working with system superusers in other areas of the business to ensure that appropriate data flows between systems in the right format at the right time
• Assisting with the administration of external audits such as OFSTED and the SFA
• Complete review of the data within Company'sr systems to ensure it is compliant and meets of the needs of the SFA & OFSTED
