Employee Relations Advisor
Macildowie HR are working with a large and well known business in Coventry as they are looking for an ER Advisor to join their team of 3 on a temporary basis. The business are currently dealing with an influx of cases and so they need a temporary ER Advisor to join them!
Temporary - ER Advisor - £15-£17ph - Immediate Start
The purpose of this role is to work proactively and reactively manage the ER case load, supporting and advising managers and employees around ER issues, including disciplinary, grievance, absence management and performance/probation reviews.
More generalist HR advice around recruitment and redundancies will be required on an adhoc basis and so this role is suited to a generalist who can be flexible and reactive, with an important aspect of this role being the ability to be proactive in risk and pattern analysis. Although the opportunity plays a vital role in bringing in an objective point of view and knowledge bank in order to keep the policies and procedures with in the business the best that they can be.
Recent and strong experience in ER is vital for this position as well as help desk experience as you will be used to the extremely high volumes of case work. It requires someone who is able to work both proactively and reactively and who has a flexible working attitude in order to manage the workload and the variety of responsibilities.
You will need to be an ER or HR Advisor who is passionate about keeping up to date with legislation and who is keen to hit the ground running in order to support this heavy ER workload and you must be CIPD level 7 qualified.
