The Company

Robert Half Finance and Accounting are recruiting for an Temporary Accounts Assistant to join a large business based close to Solihull. This role in on a temporary basis due to several projects going on.

Main Responsibilities:

The Accounts Assistant will be required to:

- Provide support to the General Ledger Accountant in the month end process

- Monthly general ledger postings including accruals, prepayments and depreciation

- Production of bank reconciliations

- Completion of month end reports and placing onto file

- Manage the purchase & sales ledgers - processing invoices and ensuring everything is coded correctly

- Bank reconciliations

- Intercompany process management and invoice and cost allocation

- Ad hoc duties and analysis to senior managers in the business

The Successful Applicant

The successful Accounts Assistant must:

- Good knowledge of general ledger
- Good reconciliations experience
- Understand how transactions work
- Good understanding of v look ups and pivots

Rate on offer

£11 per hour plus holiday pay.
