The Company

This is a fantastic opportunity to get into the dynamic world of media sales as an Account Manager at British American Group.

Since we were founded over 11 years ago, we’ve been on a mission to empower young people to do more and go further.

Over the years, we developed a portfolio of youth focused publications, apps, and websites plus services like on-campus experiential campaigns, and targeted email marketing.

We have built up an extensive list of clients like Amazon, Apple, Samsung, Tesco, Sony, Urban Outfitters, L'Oreal, Nintendo, Microsoft, Game ………

Oh yeah, we’re based in a super cool, central Birmingham office.

The Role

As an 'Account Manager’ you will sell cross-platform advertising & marketing solutions in our publications and websites.

You'll develop close relationships with existing customers to maximise revenues, whilst working with the Sales Manager to identify & pitch for new businessopportunities.

Full training will be provided and there will be constant support throughout your career.


We are looking for people that have one or more of the following:

  • At least two years sales experience (preferably B2B).

  • A seriously confident outlook, and bright personality.

  • A degree (preferably within advertising, marketing, business, or a media related subject).

  • A sporting background that demonstrates your competitive nature.

To succeed you'll need to be comfortable interacting with customers by phone or over email.

Your character, drive & ambition are the most important factors - you will be a naturally bright & enthusiastic individual, the sort of person who loves to get things done & achieve everything you set out to do.

You'll have great communication skills, be articulate and be looking for an opportunity to develop your sales career.
