Monarch Education are working closely with a school located Birmingham to help recruit for a part time Class Teacher.

The school are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dynamic Class Teacher or HLTA to provide cover across the school.

The role will involve covering classes across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, filling in for staff that may be off absent or on training days etc. You may also be asked to help on school trips or at any events that may be organised at the school.

The position is to start in October 2017 but could become available at an earlier date depending on the availability of the successful candidate.

This type of role is ideal for a Class Teacher who may be looking for part time work due to family commitments or, a retired Teacher who may be looking to just continue working a few days in a school.

This position is also open to HLTA's who may be looking for new exciting challenge, something that may be a step up from their current role.

The successful candidate will need to be able to put the learning of pupils at the forefront of everyday life with clear focus on every child being able to progress, develop and succeed. You will have the desire and ability to develop a creative learning environment, maintain a strong attention to literacy, numeracy and communication skills but also looking to develop the talents of all children.

Ideally you will have/be:

*The necessary experience of working with children in a primary school across KS1 & KS2
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
*Effective in team working
*Willing to build strong and supportive relationships with staff, pupils and parents
*Two educational references
*A DBS on the update service or be willing to purchase a new DBS through Monarch Education, of which the cost will be refunded
