ERDF Project & Procurement Manager
SF Group are currently recruiting for a ERDF Project & Procurement Manager for our Birmingham based client on a permanent basis. This post will see you support the Financial Controller in providing a strategy that ensures the organisation is compliant with all funding schemes and delivering cost savings for the organisation as a whole. The role entails the post holder to ensure compliance in line with all auditing and external requirements.
Key responsibilities include guiding on various contracts to a variety of stakeholders and ensuring that all financial aspects of procurement are adhered to particularly for ERDF projects. You will put in place key controls to ensure that the organisation adheres to ERDF funds and plan and lead on external audits. Furthermore, you will provide guidance to employees on procurement of goods to ensure compliance. You will manage procurements confidently and maintain relationships with a variety of stakeholders. You will acts as a lead to ensure that organisation are compliant in procurement rules and ensure that all ERDF projects are compliant.
Ideally you will have excellent experience in a ERDF role including excellent exposure to procurement. You must work to strict deadlines and have a solid understanding of European and public funding. A strong understanding of procurement from start to finish (in public sector setting) will put you in good stead and experience using frameworks would put candidates at a distinct advantage.
