We are now seeking to recruit a talented and motivated individual to join us as Health & Social Care Trainer & Assessor, delivering Health & Social Care Apprenticeships from Level 2 to Level 5 in the Black Country locations

This position is field based with travel across the region and is open to qualified and non-qualified Assessors. We offer full training for health & social care professionals who would like to become a Trainer/Assessor.

This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate and will allow you to work independently, manage your own time and to draw on your health & social care expertise to provide learners in their workplace with the support and training they need to enable them to realise their full career potential.

Key Accountabilities:
*Visiting learners in the workplace delivering teaching, learning & assessment towards their apprenticeship framework, including functional skills qualifications
*Maintaining documentation on teaching, learning and assessment within the e-portfolio system
*The assessment, progression and completion of learners in line with Awarding Organisation code of Practice and Quality Assurance framework
*Building and developing relationships with employers
*Identify and engage potential employers and learners onto Apprenticeship Programmes
*Ensure quality systems and processes are complied with at all times
*Manage own caseload to achieve timely completion rates for learners
*Comply with and promote Health, Safety & Environment, Equality, Diversity & Inclusion, and Welfare & Safeguarding Policies at all times

Minimum requirements are:

*Minimum of Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social care or equivalent
*Level 5 in Leadership and Management in Health and Social Care is desirable
*Must have to L3 in Care or above ( this could be nursing or social work quals ) to assess to L3 .
*To do L5 must have been a Registered manager or Deputy manager have experience in managing budgets, negotiating packages in care , responsibility for auditing , updating polices etc (experience of for a min of 12 months) Ideally hold the L4 in Care/RMA( previous qualification) or L5 in leadership and management but MUST hold a L3 minimum and be willing to complete units for CPD.
*The L4 they need to have been a deputy manager or duty manager they need experience in recruitment of staff , assessing clients developing packages of care , working with stakeholders , and conducting appraisals etc( min 12 months ) they need to hold a l3 minimum and be willing to complete units for CPD or hold the L4Care RMA or l5
*GCSE A-C maths & English or equivalent
*To possess excellent organisational skills and a professional demeanour
*Have a valid driving licence and your own car, with a willingness to travel within the region
*To be self-motivated and possess a flexible approach
*Focused on delivering targets set
*Ability to work in and adapt to a changing environment and strong time management

Salary & Benefits
*A starting salary of £25,000 pa
*Probationary increase to £25,500pa
