Groundwork West Midlands is a regional Charity established in February 2009 and we are now seeking to appoint new Trustees to join the Board and enhance the current membership.

As a Trustee you will be responsible for the overall governance of Groundwork West Midlands.
Committing a minimum of one/two days per month, your principal duties will be attendance at late afternoon quarterly meetings of the Groundwork West Midlands Board, working with fellow Trustees to set strategic direction of the organisation, providing guidance, support and challenge to the senior management team, and also promoting the charity’s work through occasional attendance at external events, and influencing key partners and stakeholders.

Applications are invited from individuals with good communication skills and a knowledge or interest in community development, regeneration, sustainability, social policy, diversity issues marketing, fundraising or HR.
All sections of the community are positively encouraged to ensure our Board reflects the communities in which we work.

The position offers an excellent opportunity to be part of a friendly, forward thinking organisation and to help us improve the lives of the most vulnerable communities in local areas.
