Domestic Violence Outreach Worker

Our client, a leading charity based in Staffordshire is recruiting for an experienced Outreach Worker to support service users suffering from domestic violence

Responsibilities for this role will include;

  • Working with clients using a person centered approach and agreeing actions of support to improve the lives of those suffering from domestic violence
  • Supporting service users in the community
  • Carrying out risk and needs assessments for each individual
  • Participating in multi-agency reviews, case conferences and conducting early help assessments where necessary
  • Assisting service users to live independently and with confidence
  • Working closely with third party agencies including; Social Services, Police, GP's and the Probation Services
  • Supporting service users to access services in the community whilst understanding the barriers victims can face when accessing services

The successful candidate will have previous experience of supporting service users who have been victims of domestic violence. You will have specialist knowledge in the cause and effect of domestic abuse. You will also have a current DBS check and hold a UK driving license.
