Young Peoples Support Worker, immediate Start, full and part time hours, supported accommodation
Your new company
Hays are a local agency that work closely with a number of supported accommodation settings that provide a stable base for care leavers between the ages of 16 and 24. They are looking for full and part time staff members to join their team as soon as possible.
Your new role
In your new role as young people's support worker you will be supporting care leavers between the ages of 16 to 24 who are living within supported accommodation. You will be encouraging independence whilst assisting with basic needs. You will also be liaising with external agencies and working in line with the individual care plans.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role you will need to hold a level 3 qualification within health and social care and have previous experience supporting vulnerable adults. You will need to be able to provide references covering the last two years and ideally have a clean DBS.
