We are seeking to appoint an experienced, committed, and inspirational Teacher of Art to join our dynamic Art department, as shown in our 2017 GCSE results (88% A*-C) this is very successful faculty for the school. You will be passionate for your subject and have the ability to stimulate the creativity of our students. You will be an expert artist and superb classroom practitioner with experience covering the EDUQAS/WJEC GCSE art syllabus. This role will be for 12 months covering maternity.

The Queen Elizabeth Academy is an 11-16 mixed academy based in Atherstone with approximately 560 pupils on roll. Following our recent Ofsted inspection in May 2017, we were shown to be "Good with Outstanding features", a real testament to the hard work and dedication of our staff and students. In November 2016, as part of the Priority School Building Programme, we moved into brand new premises that have given us access to fantastic new facilities including 3 new sound proof music rooms, an outstanding and well equipped dance studio, an incredible sports hall, and an excellent assembly/performance area. We are a forward thinking school, always looking for areas to develop and improve as well as being very open to new ideas; we feel this is best way to ensure consistent development and attainment of our students.
