Banking Controls & Governance Specialist
A Banking Controls & Governance Specialist is required by a global Investment Bank to be part of a programme designed to ensure the Bank is compliant with tax regulations e.g. FATCA, CRS, Chapter 3 etc.), whilst also ensuring that the customer onboarding experience is as smooth as possible.
You will manage the end-to-end attestation process across various international entities, reviewing and documenting all regulatory reporting processes ensuring they are fit for purpose. You will be responsible for mapping processes and drafting documentation for various operational models, to support regulatory control framework objectives. You will work closely with multiple Programme Management teams to flesh out details for processes and documentation. You will also gather and document requirements for new regulatory initiatives and create metrics and reporting to support programme delivery. In addition, you will also develop and maintain Key Operating Procedures or local guidance materials based on the on-going pipeline of change requests and write and deliver training to teams accordingly.
You will be an experienced Audit, Controls or Governance professional from the banking sector. Any previous experience of banking tax regulations (e.g. FATCA, CRS etc.) would be advantageous but is not essential. Any previous staff management experience would be beneficial, whilst strong communication and stakeholder management skills are a prerequisite for the role.
