The Role: The new Area Sales Manager will be based in the Midlands. Responsible for selling to main and sub-contractors, housing associations, house developers and local authorities, you will be dealing with procurement departments, architects and site managers in a role which is split between account management and business development. Very much a project lead role, the successful Area Sales Manager will receive full company and accredited training to ensure their success.

The Company: With three decades of trading history behind them and nationwide branches to ensure excellent product distribution, this organisation enjoys a sales turnover in excess of £20 million. They are now looking for a new Area Sales Manager to sell their range of building boards and façade solutions for including frames, flooring, sealants and insulation.

For this Area Sales Manager position, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:
  • Strong field sales skills
  • You must have sold heavyside building products, preferably building envelope products
  • A track record of selling into main and sub-contractors, housebuilders and local authorities
  • Confident candidates with strong relationship building skills
