Payroll Advisor required for a prestigious organisation in Birmingham City Centre. You will be working within a small payroll team where you will administer an accurate and timely payroll for all staff. You will run a monthly payroll approx.1000 employees end to end. On top of running payroll, you will prepare the appropriate documentation and payments for leavers, deal with any requests for information from employees, HMRC and other Government agencies and control data input to the absence management system including sickness, maternity, adoption & parental leave.

The ideal candidate will have previously worked in a similar payroll role you will have experience of pension auto enrolment procedures and working with HMRC Real Time Information (RTI). You will also have a working knowledge of current legislation in respect of tax, NI, and other statutory payments and processes. To be successful in this role you will be a proactive, keen self starter who has excellent numeracy skills with an acute understanding of all calculations. Desirably yo will have experience of Northgate PSE payroll and working in a Shared Service team.

You must be on a 1 week notice or immediately available to be considered for this opportunity - my client requires someone to start asap.

My client is a prestigious organisation based in the heart of Birmingham City Centre. They offer modern, open plan offices that are easily accessible by Public Transport.

Working hours are 9am-5pm with 1 hour lunch (35 hour week).
