Time and Attendance Administrator


We are currently seeking a proven administrator with excellent SAP and Excel skills to join an established HR team, working at a specialist manufacturing site. The employer is well established and has an excellent reputation, an enviable customer base and a healthy order book.

This position has a high transaction rate, there is a lot of data entry, reporting and administration content, the job holder will be using software including SAP and Excel. There is a lot of information management, but a great deal of variety contained within the role remit.

Now seeking to employ (with an immediate start date) someone with the following skills to manage the remit outlined below:

Reporting to a Senior HR Manager

Applicant Requirements:

  • SAP experience essential
  • MS Office experience essential, and highly proficient in the use of Excel
  • An understanding/experience of Time & Attendance (T&A) processes
  • Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Organised, systematic and able to prioritise workload
  • Comfortable working in a 'data’ heavy environment where deadlines must be met (e.g. for payroll)
  • A customer focus and a strong 'can do’ attitude

Main Responsibilities will include:

  • Working in support of, and closely with, the HR and wider management team
  • Become (with support and guidance) a 'super user’ for the relevant systems and administration processes
  • Provision of administration support services to the HR team and across the business, including:-

Entry of data for Time and Attendance

Entry of data for pay and benefits including pensions, healthcare and overtime

Data entry for salary changes (e.g. increases) and bonuses

Entry of data for absences

  • Administration in regards to Invoicing - Requisitions, Purchase Orders, working with the finance team to track and monitor process
  • Responding to queries on T&A, payroll and other relevant matters covered within the administration remit

Rate of Pay/Working Hours/Other:

£12.50 to £13.75 per hour (negotiable dependent upon experience). Working hours are 8.30am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday (30 minute lunch break daily). Car parking on site.
