Hays Education are delighted to be working on behalf of an Ofsted 'Good' Academy in North Solihull to recruit for a pool of local Cover Supervisors to start after October half term. The posts are offered on a flexible, temporary basis to suit your weekly requirements and are based within the English, Maths and Sciences classes specifically.

Your new Role
There are several part time opportunities available within this school including regular day to day cover and management release cover. You can be offered shifts as full days and/or mornings or afternoons depending on your requirements. Your responsibilities will include delivering prepared planning, completing the marking for the day and ensuring the classrooms are tidied. No planning responsibilities are included. The school are looking to build a pool of regular staff to cover English, Maths and Sciences classes specifically that they can rely on to return to the school as often as needed.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in your application for these roles you will need to have Secondary teaching experience of at least 3 months, recent experience teaching within a Secondary school or similar setting and be willing to travel within the North Solihull area. You must have experience delivering core subject lessons including English, Science and Maths. Experienced teachers are also welcome to apply as Cover Supervisors if you prefer a post with no planning responsibilities.
