Part time Payroll Officer required for an exciting opportunity offering 20 hours per week within a well established business based in Coventry. You will be working as part of a small dynamic team and you will be responsible for taking ownership of a monthly payroll with 100+ employees. Your responsibilties will include processing starters & leavers, calculating SSP, SMP, SPP, holiday entitlement, national insurance contributions and submitting the relevant HMRC forms. You will also be responsible for running period end reports, resolving queries and distributing payslips to employees.
You will be an experienced Payroll Officer with a passion for payroll and a keen eye for detail. You will be an excellent communicator with the ability to handle various payroll queries via phone or email. You will have the ability to take ownership of a payroll from start to finish and thrive in a position where you will be encouraged to implement ideas and where your hard work is recognised . Experience of working with Sage will offer an advantage.
