As a Warehouse Operations Manager your main responsibility will be to oversee the warehouse operations, which involves planning, directing and coordination the operations to ensure a smooth and efficient service is maintained. The Operations Manager will be in charge of improving the performance, productivity, and profitability through the provision of effective methods and strategies. Management of the Operations will include:

  • The Facilities (building, machines, support structure)

  • The Processes (internal processes and processes oriented towards internal and external customers)

  • The People (Customers and Warehouse Staff including Inventory Control, Administration, Logistics and Projects)

You are the main contact for the sales organisations in designing solutions for customers and providing first class customer service by ensuring the day-to-day operations run efficiently.

As a Warehouse Operations Manager your key responsibilities will be:

  • Planning and controlling change by monitoring and analysing current processes

  • Managing quality assurance

  • Training and supervising employees – track performance

  • Researching new technologies and alternative methods of efficiency

  • Setting, reviewing budgets and managing cost

  • Initiate and supervise internal improvement projects

  • Overseeing the warehouse function; inventory and distribution of goods

  • Managing day-to-day activities, analysing statistics and reading and writing reports

  • Interacting with managers of different areas of the business

  • Compensation and succession planning

  • Health & Safety

  • Supervision of management across the facility

As a Warehouse Operations Manager we are seeking the following key skills:
