A well established international industrial and metals business are looking for an experienced Quality Manager. The role, based in Coventry will help the organisation to deliver a strong positive impact and demonstrate a new approach to their manufacturing strategy.

As the Quality Manager, your duties will be to:

- Effectively manage the quality resource to support the operational structure.
- Lead the team and to participate fully with the manufacturing team to ensure the product is manufactured in line with customer expectation.
- Develop and maintain integrated systems that address all aspects of quality across incoming goods, in process manufacture and finished products.
- Contribute and lead continuous improvement initiatives across the business.
- Champion, oversee and manage the business response and business solving techniques that address customer concerns and complaints in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with the appropriate standards.
- Promote a data-orientated, customer focused culture.
- Comply with all company rules, regulations and procedures at all times and promote good working practices throughout the workforce.

To be a successful Manager you will have the following skills and experience:

- Experience in the castings industry for ferrous and nonferrous material.
- Machining experience.
- Numerate and computer literate.
- Experience of working in a TS16949 environment.
- Good understanding & knowledge of APQP documentation, Measurement System Analysis, Poke Yoke and Internal Auditing.
- Previous experience working in a management position.
- Must be eligible to work in the UK.

You will be working 38 hours per week. You will need to work any additional hours as deemed necessary to reflect job requirements.
