SEN Teaching Assistant

Hays Education are working in partnership with a secondary SEN school who require an SEN Teacher.
Your new role
As an SEN teacher you will be expected to jump straight in to the role and make an instant positive impact, we are looking for the right person who can engage with difficult classes and make as much progress as possible. You will be responsible for supporting the students learning as well as their Social, emotional and physical needs. You will be both positive and patient with strong communication skills
What you'll need to succeed
In order to apply for this role you will need to have a qualified teacher's status and be able to provide at least two relevant references from the last two years. You will need to be an enthusiastic teacher looking to make an impact on the school and the students you will be teaching. Due to the nature of the position, experience and evidence of working within an SEN setting is ideal and proof of any further qualifications that relate to SEN would be beneficial. It is imperative that you can demonstrate positive outcomes when working with children. You will be an enthusiastic Teacher that can engage and build a positive relationship with the students you will be working with whilst inspiring and encouraging them to get the most out of their education.
