Deputy Care Manager
We are looking to recruit three Deputy Care Managers to join our committed teams in Handsworth Wood, Edgbaston and Kings Heath. These opportunities are to work 37.5 hours per week, on a permanent basis.
About the roles
As our Deputy Managers, you will assist the Registered Care Managers in the smooth running of the homes, which support adults with varying levels of sensory impairments and associated disabilities. You will take an active involvement in encouraging people to live the lifestyles they want to. We are proud to support participation in a diverse range of exciting activities including zorbing, pub visits, festival weekends and water skiing!
We would like to hear from you if you are a committed and enthusiastic team player who is able to coach and mentor a team of support workers. You will be IT literate and able to undertake some administration duties as well as providing hands on support. You will be a confident individual who can represent a home in meetings and manage the day to day running of a home in the absence of the Registered Care Manager.
You will have experience of mentoring and inducting members of staff, and the ability to coordinate staff recourses. It is essential that you have a demonstrative positive attitude towards people with disabilities.
A full UK driving licence is desirable but not an essential requirement for these roles.
