WA COnsultants are recruiting for a System Engineer to work on a long term project with one of our large Automotive clients.

Role and Proposed Grade:

ADAS Systems Engineer

Role Purpose:

Responsible for the design, development and delivery of vehicle level driver assistance features.

Responsibilities

SYSTEM ENGINEER

  • Translation of a customer experience specification (feature description, F-SOI) into a logical system
  • Logical definition of all the functions and interactions that compose the system through functional, non-functional and functional safety requirements (F-SRD)
  • Liaise with the Architects to translate the logical design into a physical design (at vehicle level) compatible with the EVA
  • Liaise with the V&V team for the definition of the DVM at System level
  • Liaise with all the Subsystems (the client and suppliers) responsible of the implementation of the functions for the acceptance of the requirements
  • Completion of the System Quality deliverables (FFA) at logical (SIFFA) and physical (IFA) level and translation of the outcome in the System specification
  • Completion of the Functional Safety deliverables and translation of the outcome in the System specification

  • NHSTA & NCAP Understanding & legal compliance
  • Strong communication skills including experience presenting to senior management
