We are recruiting for Shift Engineering Technicians at our flagship site at Market Drayton. If you are a multi-skilled (electrically biased) engineer, aiming for a career with excellent progression prospects, we are looking for you! The Market Drayton Site is home to a large team of engineers working on advanced machinery such as Schuberts, Ercas and Ampac on a huge scale. Our ideal candidate would have experience of filling/process technology and PSL experience. Experience of working within a clean room environment with short shelf life products would also be advantageous. A keen eye for detail, experience of preventative maintenance techniques and the ability to communicate and drive progress within a large/ diverse team are also crucial to success.

Your challenges:
In order to deliver world class manufacturing the role is key to delivering on Health and Safety, Cost, Service Levels and Quality .
Delivery of World Class Engineering Activities:
All equipment is maintained to the highest standard.
All equipment is optimised to deliver site efficiency targets
To work in conjunction with Reliability Engineering teams to drive consistent equipment performance
To work closely with site CI teams and operational teams to deliver efficiency targets
To Identify gaps/efficiencies in PM schedules based on experience
To support development of PPM schedules for new/upgraded site assets and equipment
Full utilisation to SAP system to capture all planned and reactive activities to ensure we develop a full and accurate asset work history
Attend to minor stops and breakdowns and ensure equipment is returned operation, safely and in a timely manner

Key skills

*HND or equivalent in an Engineering or associated discipline.
*Electrically biased with good mechanical skills or fully multi skilled apprenticeship to ONC/HNC level or equivalent
*Experience working in a fast paced manufacturing company in an Engineering discipline.
*IOSH qualification
*Action orientated with ability to drive and achieve challenging goals
*Ability to demonstrate commitment and drive to deliver KPI measurements and targets
*Experience of using root cause analysis and problem solving techniques
*The ability to build good working relationships cross-functionally, with a good level of influencing and interpersonal skills
*Food industry knowledge desired
