Then this could be the role for you....

Our Pershore based client is offering a fantastic opportunity for a Purchasing Officer to join their expanding, fun, dynamic and exciting team. You will assist the Sales and Operations Department by providing a pro-active Purchasing function, ensuring the accurate handling of stock, and delivery of high quality service to all customers.

What will you be doing??

*Working closely with the Sales Order Processing function to raise, monitor progress and book in Manufacture orders to facilitate sales order fulfilment.

*Responsible for procurement and maintaining stock levels within the constraints of company budgets.

*Responsible for the stock management of key customer kits, ensuring adequate stock levels of components and finished goods are always maintained.

*Work closely with Goods-In Officer to ensure received stock is booked in accurately.

*Where necessary implementing processes to improve procurement operations.

*Building and maintaining excellent supplier relations.

*Monitoring suppliers and reporting to the Business Operations Manager any issues that may affect the client's service to customers.

*Maintaining regular contact with suppliers ensuring agreed delivery schedules are adhered to.

*Raising purchase orders with suppliers to maintain adequate stock levels whilst satisfying the minimum and maximum stock levels within group guidelines.

*Show a comprehensive understanding of the purchasing functions within Movex V12.
*Managing supplier records and information including, quality certificates, insurance documentation and basic incoming quality control queries.

*Handle basic customer queries such as stock availability, proof of deliveries and discrepancies.

*Any other duties that may be required from time to time for the smooth running of the business.

The Package:

Salary: GBP20-25k
Working Hours: 8.30-5pm
Holidays: 23 Days basic holidays +/- buy & sell
You may also be asked to travel 2-3 times a year outside of the UK.

If you have strong negotiation and influencing skills, you are analytically astute with strong problem solving capabilities then this could most definitely be the role for you. You also need to possess keen attention to detail and accuracy skills as your role will form an integral part of the function.
