my client is looking to recruit a talented and motivated individual to join as a Business Skills Trainer & Assessor, delivering the Management, Business Administration and Customer Service suite of Apprenticeships, ranging from L2 to L4 in Staffordshire.

This role requires organised people who will engage with learners to keep them involved and progress each month through to completion of their qualification. Must demonstrate a desire to coach and develop others to help reach their professional qualification. Responsible for managing own caseloads so excellent organisational skills are essential. Initially staring with 5 learners, rising to a minimum of 32 by the end of the first 6 months' probation increasing to 40 thereafter.

-Managed teams in an office/admin environment
-Completed a Level 3 or Level 4 in a Business related qualification

Key Accountability
Visiting learners in the workplace delivering teaching, learning & assessment towards their apprenticeship framework, including functional skills qualifications
Apprentices will complete a 2 years degree level course covering Level 2 and 3 in the following:- Business Administration, Customer Service, Team Leadership, IM Management, Operations Management
*Maintaining documentation on teaching, learning and assessment within the e-portfolio system
*The assessment, progression and completion of learners in line with Awarding Organisation code of Practice and Babcock Quality Assurance framework
*Building and developing relationships with employers
*Identify and engage potential employers and learners onto Apprenticeship Programmes
*Ensure quality systems and processes are complied with at all times
*Manage own caseload to achieve timely completion rates for learners
*Network with colleagues within Retail, Hospitality and Adult Care to gain leads with their clients

Minimum requirements are:
Full driving license and own a car
Solid occupational experience within a managerial role (2 years), equivalent to a L4 standard which includes business administration experience. Must have been in charge of at least one manager.
*Minimum 2 years in a managerial post - ideally with an office background however will consider other industries.
*Desirable - Level 4 Certificate/Diploma in one of the following: Management, Business Administration, Customer Service or equivalent. However happy to consider candidates with a the relevant managerial and customer service experience with the personality to move in to an Assessor role
*GCSE A-C maths & English or equivalent
*To possess excellent organisational skills and a professional demeanour
*Have a valid driving licence and your own car, with a willingness to travel within the region
*To be self-motivated and possess a flexible approach
