Care Team Leader Coach
The ExtraCare Charitable Trust is currently looking for an experienced Care Team Leader Coach to manage a team of Resident Support Workers, deliver care and support residents at School Court in Hednesford.. The successful Care Team LeaderCoach will be contracted to work 34 hours per week, plus 2 sleep in shifts per week and depending on your QCF / NVQ Qualification, we will reward you with GBP13.24 to GBP13.78 per hour.
This role would ideally suit an experienced Team Leader, Care Supervisor, Care Co-ordinator, Care Manager or Extracare Housing Manager.

As a Care Team LeaderCoach your responsibilities will be to ensure that individual care and support plans are developed, implemented and maintained to a high standard, enabling them to be used by all staff as a working document. You will be required to develop professional relationships with residents and their relatives and provide them with an effective communication network. As CareTeam Leader Coach, you will ensure that residents are encouraged to reach their optimum level of independence using skills available to them.
As CareTeam Leader Coach, you will ensure all administrative systems are implemented effectively, including budgetary control, contracts, documentation for staff and other agencies, rotas for staff, data collection, information sharing in line with ExtraCare policy and procedures. You will promote continuous improvement by which the residents, staff, users of the village, their relatives, carers and volunteers can contribute to the decision making process. You will utilise procedures for the recruitment, induction and monitoring of new appointments using the established guidelines with ExtraCare.
You will manage a team of Team Leaders and Resident Support Workers to ensure correct procedures are followed for the delivery of personal care including administration of medication and its associated requirements.
To be successful in the role of Care Team Leader Coach, you will need:
- NVQ / QCF Diploma Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or working towards this qualification).
- An exceptional communicator as it will be essential to build and maintain rapport with the residents and the staff team.
- Experience in managing a team within a similar environment
