The Role:

The Client Services team is expanding online with our clients growth and they are looking for an experienced marketer and account handler to work alongside the Agency Director.

There is currently one position open for an Account Director, the location of the role is flexible - the successful candidate could work from either their central London office or their larger office in Leamington Spa. Either way the candidate would need to be able to travel between the two offices and client offices when required.


Reporting to the Agency Director you will be responsible for the following:

  • A portfolio of clients ranging across different industries
  • Management of Client Managers and Client Executives who will support you in your role
  • Taking the strategic lead for your client portfolio
  • Working with the various relevant departments to create a marketing strategy that is based on evidence and insight
  • Working with the Client Managers and Client Executives to implement the strategy
  • Ensuring the strategy is on track, delivering results and meeting the objectives through regular measurement, review and refinement
  • Hitting KPIs around client retention, existing client growth and results delivered for your clients
  • Ensuring all processes from brief to delivery, are carried out to a consistently high standard
  • Ensuring that strategies are delivered on time and to budget
  • Attending client meetings and supporting the new business team in pitches when required

The Person:

Our client is looking for someone who has a strong commercial awareness and is a good team player. You need to thrive on delivering results for your clients regardless of their size or industry sector, and have the ability to keep calm under pressure in order to consistently deliver a high standard of work.

Essential Requirements:

  • Minimum of 6 years agency experience (some/all of which to include B2B clients)
  • Understanding of the SME market and the nuances that make them different to working for large corporate brands
  • Proven track record of delivering strategies across the entire marketing mix (including Inbound)
  • Experienced and confident in presenting to clients
  • Marketing degree and/or CIM equivalent qualification
  • Experience with managing teams

Desirable Requirements:

  • Knowledge of Marketing Automation
  • Experience of HubSpot
