DIESEL GENERATOR SERVICE ENGINEER
My client are an amalgamation of some of the most trusted and experienced names in critical infrastructure. Their product portfolio includes all kind of power infrastructure products and solutions and spans the entire globe.

They specialise in providing installation, project management and service/maintenance of a huge range of power products including UPS and all types of Generators.

Due to recent expansion and an influx of new contracts they have a current requirement for a Diesel Generator engineer with a strong electrical bias. They are ideally looking for someone with experience of working on a range of Generators (including the major ones like Perkins, Cummins, FG Wilson etc.) and the ability to work electrically on the controls and switchgears.

You will ideally be located in the Midlands (from Stoke on Trent down to Birmingham) as the majority of the work will take place in this area.

Remuneration:
GBP25,000 - GBP30,000PA Basic Salary (Dependant on skill level)
OT available (T ?? or 2X depending on when)
On call rota 1 week in 7

The Ideal Candidate:
-8 or more years total experience working in the Diesel Generator sector.
-Relevant experience in their current role, or a recent position.
-Experience working as a Field Service & Maintenance Engineer within the last 5 Years.
-Industry relevant training listed on their CV (Such as NVQ, City & Guilds, HNC, electrical qualifications).
-Perkins, Cummins, FG Wilson etc. Industry Manufacturer Product Training Certificates listed on their CV.
-Customer focused and confident in their skills (and a confident communicator)

Essential Requirements:
-Demonstrable experience working in the Diesel Generator sector.
-A strong electrical bias with the ability to work on the controls side of things.
-Relevant experience working as a Field Service & Maintenance Engineer such that they could hit the ground running and not require any additional training to start work.
-Customer focused and confident in their skills (and a confident communicator)
-Driving license holder
