Support Workers required for a brand new Children’s Service on the outskirts of Ross-on-Wye
£7.80 - £9.14, £62.50 per Sleep In per hour depending on experience, plus excellent training, progression, pension, childcare vouchers
Numerous shift patterns available, for full time we normally work on a 2 days on, 3 days off rota, however we will also consider part-time and bank workers

At I&A Services, part of the CareTech group, we are currently recruiting for Support Workers for our brand new, recently renovated Children’s Service set in a peaceful rural location on the outskirts of Ross-on-Wye. The service provides a safe, nurturing environment where support can be given to young people who, due to specific challenging life episodes, are experiencing crisis in their lives. The service provides the opportunity for young people to have their needs assessed so future support services can implement effective planning to meet their needs. We pride ourselves on providing a safe, warm and nurturing environment with a high standard of care and accommodation for children, ensuring of an excellent delivery of care.
We are seeking caring, committed and compassionate Support Workers to join our team, for our new development which is due to open in July 2017. Whilst experience definitely isn’t essential, we don’t just want anyone! We are looking for courageous and committed individuals who can communicate these attributes within a challenging yet rewarding environment. In return, we will provide you with superb training and progression opportunities, in tandem with good rates of pay and a benefits package. We have over 250 Services as far North as Inverness and as far South as Kent, and all areas in between. We are looking for enthusiastic, person-centred individuals who share the same passion for care as we do!
Applicants must have, or be willing to work towards a Level 3 Children and Young Peoples Workforce Diploma or recognised equivalent. Due the location of the service and the shift patterns drivers would be preferred. Shift patterns are three days on, six days off.
