Great Britain’s gambling industry is in a constant state of change, fuelled by shifting consumer behaviour and the rapid growth of technology. It’s high profile politically too, and the legislation controlling gambling is constantly under scrutiny. Within this uniquely challenging and evolving environment, The Gambling Commission’s role is to ensure that gambling is crime free, fair and open - and that children and vulnerable people are protected. Now they need you to play a key role in their future, driving the change needed to ensure that the Gambling Commission can meet the growing complexity of the market and their developing regulatory remit.

The Gambling Commission are currently looking for a Senior Compliance Auditor to join the compliance team for the National Lottery Programme.

This is a superb opportunity for a qualified auditor or accountant to take on an exciting, new challenge with one of the nation’s leading regulatory bodies.

As the Senior Compliance Auditor, you will manage, co-ordinate and deliver a wide variety of compliance work streams to ensure that the National Lottery Programme is delivered to a high standard.

Working closely with the Senior Compliance Auditors and the Senior Manager, you will ensure that an adequate and appropriate framework is in place.

You’ll make sure that all testing activities are performed in a timely manner against the annual plan to ensure that the National Lottery operates in-compliance with regulatory obligations.

To be considered, you will need:

- To be a professionally qualified auditor or accountant
- Proven experience of managing teams of professionally qualified individuals

Methodical and pragmatic, as the Senior Compliance Auditor, you’ll have strong presentation and relationship-building skills. You’ll also be able to consider problems from a different perspective and identify solutions, challenge assumptions and consider new approaches to issues.

A project management certification would be beneficial to your application, as would the ability to use computer-assisted analysis and/or auditing tools.

Please note, the closing date for applications is the 14th September 2017.
