Paralegal Role

This role will be critical in providing high quality and accurate first level employment law advice and consultancy to key clients; from telephone / email advice to meeting with clients. Working as part of a key team you will progress into legal research for clarification, preparing documents to tribunal level, drafting documents and correspondence, reviewing employment law related documents such as staff handbooks and contracts for clients.

Paralegal Essential Criteria

  • Detailed knowledge of employment legislation and its application
  • Thorough understanding of applying employment law into HR policies and procedures within in the areas of employee conduct, sickness and absence, performance, grievance, disciplinary, investigations, dismissal
  • Have provided guidance and coaching via telephone, email, reports, interviews, in person
  • Able to build relationships quickly, influence stakeholders and push back when required
  • Highly organized, able to manage your own workload.
