IT Service Operations Manager

Greenfield IT are partnering with a leading global organisation who are looking for an IT Service Operations Manager who has a strong focus on Incident, Problem and Change Management, with Supplier and Client Management also being of high importance.

IT Service Operations Manager core responsibilities:-

  • Managing a team of ITIL experts to ensure world class delivery of ITIL based services
  • Ensure successful growth of IT Client Relationships
  • Lead and/or participate in on-going client planning sessions to ensure clients are optimising use of products and services as part of their broader Risk Management strategy
  • Escalation point for IT service delivery concerns from the business and IT Management
  • Manages the IT Service Operations staff including consultation on performance evaluations, promotions, hiring and disciplinary
  • Drive continuous service improvement plans across suppliers
  • Responsible for monitoring the performance of suppliers in relation to key performance, financial and delivery indicators
  • Exemplifies the desired culture of continuous improvement and philosophies of the organisation

IT Service Operations Manager key skills:-

  • ITIL qualified and experience of working within a busy IT Service Delivery / IT Ops Management environments
  • Experience in managing ITIL Service Teams including Major Incident, Problem Management and Change Management
  • Experience working with senior or executive stakeholders as well as managing 3rd party managed service providers
  • Can demonstrate sound financial and commercial judgement, and can effectively manage budgets
  • Strong Client and Service Management skills

IT Service Operations Manager ideal candidate:-

  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills

Salary GBP60k - GBP70k plus package including benefits
