Salary: Circa GBP38k Potential to rise to 45k plus excellent benefits
Hours: 6.00am to 6.00pm and 6.00pm to 6.00am and a 4 on / 4 off shift pattern

local manufacturing company who supplies products to the construction industry now requires a Maintenance Electrician to join their team.

Maintenance Electrician - Job Outline:
Working as part of the maintenance team to ensure that all electrical plant equipment and machinery on site are operating efficiently with the minimum amount of downtime and they are kept in safe and good mechanical working order.

Maintenance Electrician - Main Responsibilities:

- Install and or maintain all electrical & electro-mechanical plant or machinery.
- Operate a preventative electrical maintenance system to ensure that the plant & machinery is in good working order.
- Fault find and repair any electrical or electro-mechanical related problems on the plant or equipment.
- Program all Siemens & other PLC equipment.

Maintenance Electrician - About You
The ideal candidate MUST come from the Manufacturing industry as a Maintenance Electrician. You will also have the following skills, qualifications and experience:

- HNC/ONC Electrical Engineering
- Good knowledge of AC motors, inverters and drives
- Good knowledge of three phase motors/sensors
- Siemens PLC's software literate
- Good knowledge of control systems
- Be able to work in conjunction with mechanical staff (multi skill understanding)
