This private Bank in Piccadilly is looking to recruit an experienced Credit Assistant/Analyst on a years contract to join this busy Credit department.

To perform the following functions, either with primary responsibility or as designated functional cover

You will be responsible for limit excess management, collateral monitoring and control

Systems and data maintenance

Credit Committee agenda organisation, short form reviews

Credit Analysis, analysis short form reviews, logging credit applications in database

Scanning and filing final credit applications

Attending credit committee, responsible for agenda distribution

Documentation, Issue valuation instruction letters, review values Terms of Engagement

Copy buildings insurance to the Relationship Managers.

Credit Control duties include management/filing of excess approvals, payment release in Globus queue

Responsible for daily excess list 90 days, daily loan interest arrears 30 days

Daily review of collateral monitoring reports, monthly excess list GBP1,000

Responsible for Data Management, to include Client limits input and maintenance

Client collateral input/maintenance, client commitments & guarantees

Management of temp excess limits, maintenance of interest margins

Review of data exception reports (GED)

Pre-month end check - improved data quality, MI & Reporting, monthly overdue limit review/expiry report

Keep their knowledge up-to-date regarding market and regulatory developments, as appropriate to their role

Treat customers fairly and act in their best interest offering a transparent, efficient and professional service

Familiarise themselves with the Conduct Rules Policy and Standard as well as undertake annual training on Conduct Rules (Tier 1)

To apply we are looking for someone who has been working in Banking, working knowledge of banking, credit and operational systems

Excellent attention to detail, verbal and written presentation skills, IT literacy
