The UK's leading and best-known food on the go retailer are currently looking to recruit a Quality Management Systems Officer on an initial 6-12 month contract at their Birmingham Bakery.

The Role
Reporting to the Technical Manager, you would be responsible for assisting with the development, implementation and maintenance of the Quality Management System across the site in line with BRC standards. Your main remit will be to assist with the development of site procedures and site documentation relating to food safety and product quality.

You will drive forward food safety and product quality improvements, administering and maintaining the document control system, plus assisting the HACCP Team with any required documentation to maintain the system. You would assist with the management of the internal audit system, as well as managing any supplier complaints that may arise.

The Candidate
It's essential that you have experience in a similar QMS role, ideally within food manufacturing. You'll be a highly organised, numerate and results-focused, with excellent communication, planning and IT skills, and you will possess practical knowledge of the BRC Standard and QMS Systems. HACCP or CIEH level 3 qualification would also be desirable however is not essential.
