The ideal candidate for this Teaching Assistant role will be a positive science graduate who has a 2:1 or higher degree and can pass on their love of this subject to encourage and inspire pupils. You must be strong willed, determined with a creative edge that can brake down barriers and assist is raising attainment levels. The ability to enthuse young minds is key in this pivotal role.

In this exciting Teaching Assistant position you will be moving throughout the department to match demand. You will be joining one of the most popular, hard working and social departments of the school. You will have the chance in this role to pick up all the different facets if teaching life as you fulfil different roles. You will be tasked with helping to create interesting and informative lesson plans on a diverse range of topics. In general, you will make the most from the latest resources installed by the department. Your responsibilities will include coordinating groups of struggling or gifted pupils, working together with the class teacher to identify potential pupils who would benefit from extra-class support. As a Teaching Assistant you will be working with some of the best teachers in the region.
