The Role:

Working for a successful manufacturing company of bespoke products

Working within the sales administration team

Responsibilities include providing good all round sales administration duties

Customer support via telephone and email

Preparation of costs and quotations

Following up on customer quotations

Providing confident and competent technical support

Providing overviews for quotations from drawings provided

Able to read drawings to customer specifications

Liaising with decision makers at all levels

Supporting with site coordination

Providing resolution of site problems effectively

Preparation subcontractors, suppliers and material procurement schedules

Responsibility for occasional site visits

Ability to negotiate and close quotations

Liaising with contractors, suppliers with a view to agree final arrangements

Skills and Attributes required:

Candidate will have strong commercial experience, organised with a professional approach

Ideally will have had a role involving working with various parties to reach final solution

Able to confidently deal with decision makers at all levels

Experience and able to read and work with drawings specifications

Pricing project understanding

Experience working towards tight deadlines

Excellent client relationship skills

Desirable Skills/Attributes of the Quantity Surveyor

Excellent IT skills, in particular advanced Excel or other QS software

Good communicator and excellent analytical capabilities

Willingness to show initiative and drive in addition to being a team player

Well-presented and professional with a flexible approach to work

The Hours:

Monday to Thursday 8.30am - 5pm

Friday 8.30am - 4pm
