Are you an experienced Bookkeeper looking for a new challenge? Then read on! Our client is looking for an experienced, flexible and organised professional Bookkeeper to join their busy and successful team on a permanent part time basis near Southam.

You will be joining a well established family run business with ambitious growth plans.

As Bookkeeper your main duties will include:

Accounts (SAGE)

* Carrying out monthly and yearly budgets
* Producing management reports
* Managing budgets
* Analysing projects for profit percentage
* All aspects of cash flow
* Managing petty cash, fuel card and company credit cards
* Collecting payment including all aspects of credit control
* Administration for Directors
* Preparing month end and year end accounts
* Calculating and paying VAT
* Control Accounts & Journals, Accruals and Prepayments
* Bank and cash reconciliation
* Performing all aspects of cash transfers
* Collating and running weekly payroll

HR & Health & Safety

* Induct new members off staff (Office H&S, HR, Payroll)
* Produce contracts of employment, offer letters & contract amendments
* Administration for reviews, performance issues & appraisals
* Manage all sickness & absence reporting, including back to work meetings & sickness reviews
* Update personnel guidance systems (Mentor)
* Minute & maintain admin regarding disciplinary matters
* Book refresher & new staff training courses
* CRB Checks

Key competencies for the role of Bookkeeper:

* Previous experience in accounts with Sage
* Have worked within an HR function, in an office environment
* Used to working to deadlines
* Excellent communication skills
* Very organised and methodical
* Able to work under pressure and prioritise
* Positive and driven
* Strong IT skills
* Full driving licence and own transport due to client's location
