Working within a branded budget style accommodation you will have exposure to all areas of the hotel from reception, to housekeeping, food and beverage and maintenance and it is this variety of day to day management that will excite you and encourage you to learn more and mroe about the hotel industry.

You must have management experience within a hotel as the role does require you to take on more responsibility and at times when the General Manager or Deputy Manager is out of the building you are the person in charge.

My client requires the Hotel Duty Manager to deliver a fantastic guest experience by communicating and leading the team and this role will include shift work.

As with many budget hotel brands the duty managers can be checking in a guest one minute, serving on the bar the next, assisting in the kitchen another. The Hotel Duty Manager will have responsibility for rate and inventory management, stock taking and ordering and ensuring housekeeping and maintenance are fully staffed and adhering to compayn standards.
