Level 2 Early Years Practitioner
Level 2 Early Years Practitioner required for 25 hours a week in the Rugby area.
Your new company
As a qualified Early Practitioner you will be working in a Nursery within the Rugby area which has been rated as 'Good' by Ofsted. They are located in a new building that has been designed and resourced by the Nursery's own staff. They provide childcare all year round and are open from 8am-6pm 5 days a week. The nursery follows the Early Years Foundation Stage and ensures the activities they provide are exciting whilst providing them with the opportunity to explore, investigate and be creative. The setting offers outdoor learning for all age groups which has a range of wheeled vehicles, building blocks and climbing equipment. The nursery has an on-site cook which provides nutritious meals for all the children. During the warmer months the children grow and prepare their own fruit and vegetables which are then used within their meals and during cooking activities.
Your new role
The position is for 25 hours a week and will be on a shift basis either 8-1 or 1-6 5 days a week. You will have a level 2 qualification in childcare. You will become a key worker in your new role and therefore will be responsible for small groups of children including completing their observations, learning journals and report writing.
What you'll need to succeed
Applications will be accepted from those with a Level 2 qualification in childcare and have a good knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage. You will work well as part of a team but will also be able to use your own initiative when required. You must be pro-active, passionate and enthusiastic about providing the best possible care and start in life.
