Sheridan Maine is recruiting for a Payroll Bureau Manager for a business services organisation based in
in Coventry. Salary GBP45000 - GBP60000 per annum.

The Role

As the Payroll Bureau Manager you will be responsible for managing a team of payroll administrators and ensure that the day to day duties within the department are completed.

Other duties and responsibilities

- Maintaining payroll information by designing systems; directing the collection, calculation, and entering of data
- Updating payroll records by reviewing and approving changes in exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions, and job titles, and department/ division transfers.
- Determine payroll liabilities by approving the calculation of employee federal and state income and social security taxes, and employer's social security, unemployment, and workers compensation payments.
- Balancing the payroll accounts by resolving payroll discrepancies.

- Experience within Payroll Bureau
- Being able to work to busy deadlines
- Good Microsoft Word and Excel skills
