Our client based in South Warwickshire, a friendly and market leading Manufacturing & Distribution SME Company is looking to recruit a Finance Assistant on a 2 month temporary contract with a view to potentially becoming permanent in the future.

Duties will include (but not limited to):

* Match, batch and code 20 purchase invoices per day

* Prepare invoice and goods received reserves as part of the month end accounts procedures

* Check ledgers, statements and accounts to identify errors and take any necessary corrective action

* Produce supplier statement and control account reconciliations on a monthly basis

* Deal with payment runs of BACS and Cheques

* Respond to supplier enquiries and queries, by telephone or by e mail

* Maintain accurate financial records, including data input to the computer
