Every Job Recruitment are looking for an experienced HR Manager on behalf of one of our city based clients.

The HR Manager will be responsible for day to day HR operations, providing an effective advisory service to managers and employees, at all stages of the employee lifecycle. Key Accountabilities:

  • Ensure the smooth operation of all HR processes, working closely alongside senior management, including recruitment, staff development and employee relations
  • Proactively manage all matters of employee relations, including disciplinary and grievance issues
  • Provide coaching and support to the management team through training and mentoring to develop their management skills
  • Provide advice to the management team to bring the best solutions for employee retention and staff development
  • Support and update the business on all employee relations matters and legislation changes
  • Assess risk and identify gaps in employee relation processes and procedures
  • Design key job positions and succession plans
  • Provide support and guidance for managers and staff on HR issues including employment legislation
  • Proactively manage all matters of employee relations, including disciplinary and grievance issues
  • Provide support with recruitment and selection activity, including interviews, benchmarking and testing if required
  • Support managers with management of staff, including absence, team development, performance etc.
  • Delivery of induction training for new starters, with responsibility for scheduling and materials
  • Delivery of sales training and coaching to Resourcers and Trainee Consultants
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to date information on the HR systems.
  • Provide weekly/monthly management reports as requested.
  • Liaison with finance team to ensure compliance with pension requirements and other deductions / statutory payments
  • Full accountability for all policy and procedures, including implementation new HR policies, procedures and processes, in line with ISO and legislation
  • Responsible for key communications to the business ensuring every employee is up to date with key changes and objectives
  • Responsible for key communications across the business
  • Responsible for various ad-hoc HR and Administrative tasks including:
  • Offer Letters
  • Contracts
  • Contract change letters
  • Starters (RTW, Reference Checks)
  • Leavers
  • Person Specification:

  • Experience in a standalone HR role within a similar business environment
  • Experience in a recruitment or sales environment would be desirable
  • CIPD Qualified
  • Experience of delivering training
  • Experience of dealing with employee relations cases such as disciplinary, dismissal, grievance
  • Experience of writing and negotiating settlement agreements
  • Experience of managing tribunal cases would be desirable
  • Negotiation skills
  • Strong business acumen, able to quickly identify risk and deliver a commercial solution
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
