Every Job Recruitment are looking for an experienced HR Manager on behalf of one of our city based clients.
The HR Manager will be responsible for day to day HR operations, providing an effective advisory service to managers and employees, at all stages of the employee lifecycle. Key Accountabilities:Ensure the smooth operation of all HR processes, working closely alongside senior management, including recruitment, staff development and employee relationsProactively manage all matters of employee relations, including disciplinary and grievance issuesProvide coaching and support to the management team through training and mentoring to develop their management skillsProvide advice to the management team to bring the best solutions for employee retention and staff developmentSupport and update the business on all employee relations matters and legislation changesAssess risk and identify gaps in employee relation processes and proceduresDesign key job positions and succession plansProvide support and guidance for managers and staff on HR issues including employment legislationProactively manage all matters of employee relations, including disciplinary and grievance issuesProvide support with recruitment and selection activity, including interviews, benchmarking and testing if requiredSupport managers with management of staff, including absence, team development, performance etc.Delivery of induction training for new starters, with responsibility for scheduling and materialsDelivery of sales training and coaching to Resourcers and Trainee ConsultantsMaintaining accurate and up-to date information on the HR systems.Provide weekly/monthly management reports as requested.Liaison with finance team to ensure compliance with pension requirements and other deductions / statutory paymentsFull accountability for all policy and procedures, including implementation new HR policies, procedures and processes, in line with ISO and legislationResponsible for key communications to the business ensuring every employee is up to date with key changes and objectivesResponsible for key communications across the businessResponsible for various ad-hoc HR and Administrative tasks including:Offer LettersContractsContract change lettersStarters (RTW, Reference Checks)Leavers
Person Specification:Experience in a standalone HR role within a similar business environmentExperience in a recruitment or sales environment would be desirableCIPD QualifiedExperience of delivering trainingExperience of dealing with employee relations cases such as disciplinary, dismissal, grievanceExperience of writing and negotiating settlement agreementsExperience of managing tribunal cases would be desirableNegotiation skillsStrong business acumen, able to quickly identify risk and deliver a commercial solutionExcellent communication and interpersonal skills
